Back from L.A.

I took a much needed vacation to L.A. to see the amazing David Lynch exhibit at Griffin. http://www.griffinla.com
The show was so dang inspiring. David Lynch is definitely our greatest living artist, I have no doubt. Between, paintings, sculpture, cartoons, animation, film, TV, books, music, etc…. who can touch him? Go see the show if you can!
I, also got to see my dear friends Gooding (and Rakki) and Miss Pam Terry… we had a blast and I get the allure (of parts) of L.A… but, I AM a Kansas boy. And very proud of that.
Anyway, the Canon 1D comes in December, and we hope to be shooting by the end of January… fingers crossed.

Final feedback.

I think I have gotten the last of the feedback and it’s time to write the final draft.  The feedback has been really positive except for a few small things that everybody thought should go, and they have been omitted (good call on everybody’s part).

My brother Mark, actually liked the script… after he got his head around the campiness of the script.  He gave me some good feedback and I have made some nice changes to the script because of it.  He kept telling me that it reminded him of a “Rocky Horror” vibe…. but, Adam said it still had a nice David Lynch vibe, also… which is the highest compliment I could ever get.  I worship David Lynch.

So, I hope to have the final draft done by next week and then it’s on to real pre-production… weeeee!
